And Turkey, despite using emergency control and management tools that are brutal and unacceptable, is the country that can really talk about emergency and invasion.

EUROPE?

Trends in the number of asylum seekers vary from country to country.

Greece was the country with the largest increase in the number of first candidatures followed by Italy.

By contrast, in Germany, Sweden and Australia the number of asylum seekers has declined significantly.
