Cameroon: a problematic situation

People are fleeing from Cameroon not only because there is the Boko Haram, but also because in this country today people are living in a very critical conditions.

 

 

There are : Discrimination, Arbitrary Arrest And Detentions, Security Forces Torture, Deaths In Custody, Poor Conditions In Prison, Human Trafficking, Unfair Trial. Human rights in Cameroon are addressed in the constitution, but they aren’t  guaranteed. Cameroon is a country of origin, transit, and destination for children subjected to trafficking in persons, specifically forced labor, and a country of origin for women in forced labor.

  • ARBITRES ARRESTS AND DETENTIONS

 

The security forces have carried out at least a thousand people arrests Accused of supporting Boko haram in the far north of the country, even in operations Of encirclement and mass search, in which dozens of men and boys are Were rattled and arrested.

Harassment and violence against LGBT people in the country, though the number of arrests

 

In addition to the internal critical situation there is also the presence of terrorist military groups.

Cameroon is one of the few African countries who have not experienced coups in the last decade, but now is becoming a base for over-the-counter terrorist militias. In particular of Boko haram.
